VATeir and VATUK are pleased to announce the Airways Overload event on Sunday 21st December between 1800Z and 2200Z. The aim of this event is to get as much traffic as possible flying to/from Dublin(EIDW) and Liverpool(EGGP) which will be split between 2 airways - one for Westbound flights(L70) and one for Eastbound flights(L975), which will make it very interesting and challenging for controllers!
Both airports will be providing full ATC for the course of the event, and there will also be enroute ATC on both sides of the Irish Sea.
Flying from DUBLIN(EIDW)
If you plan to fly from Dublin during the event you must use the following routing:
LIFFY L975 LYNAS
Flying from LIVERPOOL(EGGP)
If you plan to fly from Liverpool during the event you must use the following routing:
WAL L10 PENIL L70 BAGSO
This is set to be one of the biggest and busiest events this Christmas so be sure not to miss it!
